Worship
Worship is part of the essence of the Misericórdias, practicing acts of Catholic worship under the principles of doctrine and Christian morality
Praying to God for the living and the dead is a work of mercy to which the brothers are obliged, in addition to being invited to glorify the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Mercy.

Private Church
For worshiping and praying by the brothers and the underprivileged, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto built in the sixteenth century, its private church.
Considered a gem of sacred architecture, the facade displays the trace of the Italian architect and painter Nicolau Nasoni.

Private Cemetery
The Private Cemetery of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, located in the Prado do Repouso Cemetery, meets the Work of Mercy: Bury the dead.
One of its most important buildings is the General chapel of octagonal central plan with the dome topped by a cross. In addition to this chapel, there are several deposits of historical and artistic interest.
